Terms of Service

Your account

• You must give accurate account details and keep your sign-in credentials to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• You must be at least 13 years old.
• Accounts are for people: they must be created and used by a human, not registered or operated by bots.

The service

Reminta’s core features are free. Some optional extras may be offered as paid features; they will always be clearly marked. Whether you pay or not, we never sell your data.

Reminta is a young product run by a small team. Features may change, and we may add, alter, or retire parts of the service; where a change removes something you rely on, we will give notice where practical.

Your content

Everything you capture in Reminta is yours. We claim no ownership of it. So that the service can work, you give us the limited right to host, store, and display your content: that includes showing your sessions to teachers you have linked with (always under your visibility settings) and, on accounts with suggested translations, sending captured text to a translation provider. Nothing more.

We own the Reminta software, design, and branding. You may not copy or reuse them without permission.

Teachers and students

Teacher-student links are created by invitation and either side can pause or end one at any time. Content that reaches you through a link, such as a student’s sessions or a teacher’s shared lesson, is for your own learning or teaching; do not republish it or use it for anything else. Copies of shared lessons belong to the students who received them.

Acceptable use

Do not use Reminta for anything unlawful, to store or share content you have no right to, to harass or harm others, or to probe, disrupt, scrape, or overload the service. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, with warning where practical.

Leaving

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Deletion is immediate and permanent; see the Privacy Policy for exactly what is removed.

No warranty, limited liability

Reminta is provided as is and as available. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your requirements. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes and questions

If these terms change, the new version will appear on this page with an updated date at the top; continuing to use Reminta after a change means you accept it. Questions? Email alistairmridley@gmail.com.
